BIO
For the past 28 years, Craig Ruttle has worked as a dedicated photojournalist covering the smallest of community events to the largest of disasters. Craig has photographed heads of the class and heads of state.
His experience ranges from spelling bees to national basketball and baseball championship coverage, and earth-shaking events, such as the Pacific Tsunami of Christmas week, 2004.
Along with a career focused on photography, Craig has managed large staffs and coordinated coverage of major events in the newsroom and in the field. His organizational and professional skills make him a seasoned journalist who can be trusted and counted on to be fast but thorough when time is a factor and problems must be solved quickly.
Craig’s work has been used in several newspapers and publications across the United States and beyond, with 17 years shooting and at times supervising the excellent photo staff at the Cincinnati Enquirer.
Craig (after 10 earlier years at the Poughkeepsie Journal) is now in New York City and the Hudson Valley region ready to take on new clients with the same enthusiasm that has inspired his career for almost three decades.
